Who is watching this?
It's live in Scotland but are the rest of the UK getting it live?
Any webcasts?

The Proclaimers started it off but now Jamie Cullum(who looks about 4 foot 5) is doing "All You Need Is Love" and is quite horrible.

Highlights on BBC3 now (I was out earlier)

Neneh Cherry turned up for 7 Seconds which was more than she did on Saturday.

Travis were good. The Thrills existed. Midge Ure made me (and the rest of the world) think "no-one knows the words to Vienna except the "this means nothing to me" bit".

haha OTM!

I missed some of the middle of the gig. Do you know who else played?

Andy Jay, Wednesday, 6 July 2005 22:18 (twenty years ago)

Nah, I just got in to see, so far, Sir Bob, Youssou and Neneh, Travis, The Thrills, Feeder, Midge and I can't remember what else because I keep flicking channels. Interviews with Clooney, Bono and, erm, Patrick Lielty. BBC3 now have Embrace on.

Kielty, that is. Embrac seem to be rocking the small section of crowd the camera is focusing on.

ailsa (ailsa), Wednesday, 6 July 2005 22:31 (twenty years ago)

Embrace. I can't type on this keyboard. I forgot about Snow Patrol (lucky me)

Andy Jay, Wednesday, 6 July 2005 22:34 (twenty years ago)

I liked the James Brown woman's red dress but Cathy said it looked cheap with her red hair.

Alba (Alba), Wednesday, 6 July 2005 22:50 (twenty years ago)

I'm a big Embrace fan, and it's nice to hear that Danny McNamara is singing more in tune these days - now all he has to do is sing in time with the rest of his band. He was about five seconds ahead of the rest of them when they did "Ashes".
