After donkey's of listening mainly to old favorites - Nick Drake, The Incredible String Band, Woody Guthrie, Hank WIlliams, etc. - I recently experiemtned, ordering from Amazon three wild cards - Doc Watson's "The Best of Doc Watson 1964-1968", plus Andy Bey's "Blues, Ballads and Bey" and John Denver's "An Evening With John Denver [LIVE]". They've all turned out to be amazing gems! So, you know what my mood and tastes are, what shall I get next..?

stop making fun of me and get down to the point of recommending music to a person who seriously enjoys John Denver and Doc Watson

I would recommend the new Corky Siegel's Chamber Blues record, which combines a string quartet with harmonica and tablas. Very interesting, you might love it.

Cheaper to buy all the tracks individually than to buy the whole album as one item. WTF?
