Which singer from Chi-Town deserves the vitriol they receive more -R.Kelly or Billy Corgan?

I say Kelly simply because of the awful music, stupid persona and damning physical evidence (the infamous videotape). But I'm sure this crows is going to favor Corgan as far worse.

Corgan has an album and a half of good material. R Kelly has... uh.... well he was good comedy fodder for about 15 minutes of Dave Chappelle material.

I worshipped Billy Corgan while I was in high school. I'm only 20 and there aren't enough drugs in the world to recover from that, so Billy Corgan gets my vote.

I prefer Kelly musically but I do think Corgan is (gulp) probably the guy I'd prefer to hang around. This is saying something considerable. Then again, Kelly's voice doesn't make me want to drive nails into my skull. Extremely slight advantage: R.

I can only imagine how he might modify that lyric.

Corgan has one of the most annoying voices ever. Kelly does not. He also has sungs that I quite like. So even though "I Believe I Can Fly" is undoubtedly worse than anything the Smashing Pumpkins or Zumbawhumpa recorded it's Kelly pretty easily.

so R.Kelly by a landslide. corgan's a tool. id take "I believe i can fly" over "disarm" anyday of the week, its thousands of times less cringe inducing.
