venue info. needed: the Vanguard in Hollywood

There are two upcoming shows I want to see at this new/revamped Hollywood performance space. However, I want to know if my pregnant wife will be able to go with me. This requires knowing in advance if there is seating. I checked ticketmaster, spaceland, and google to no avail. Does anyone here know if the Vanguard has seating? If so, are the seats good?

I was there for a fashion show about 6 months ago. There were no seats at the time.

I think it was Qtopia then? Not sure if the redo involves any seating a la Avalon, but the space is definitely more club than theatah.

Someone told me there is a balcony with seats. Can anyone confirm?

I don't remember a balcony at all, but maybe there is a VIP section or projection room or something like that. It was called the Vanguard when I went, but I didn't see any signage. The layout of the place does not make it likely that they would have installed seats since I went.
