jazz poet ID question

I downloaded this concert by Air from soulseek (that's Henry Threadgill, Fred Hopkins, and Steve McCall, not those French synth nerds, you savages) and it turns out they're backing up a guy reading poetry. I have no idea who, and wwould like to find out.

Here's the tracklist, the date of the concert is March 20, 1982

Those do sound like they'd be Baraka titles, especially "Zoodoo" and "Against Bourgeois Art"
