Im still not clear on what it is exactly - Im in mass. & was thinking about making the trip to go see MU in a couple weeks - whats the deal with it?

it's dancing in the courtyard of PS1 which is a big old school that is now an art museum. it's great -- LOTS of ACTUAL DANCING. i feel like the crowd may be more 25 - 30 than any other age range, actually. i always hear many people speaking european languages when i go, too.

be prepared for a VERY long line--go early if you can....either way, it's a lot of fun and worth the wait.

sometimes i haven't gotten there until 7 or 7:30 which obv means missing most of the thing but if you only want to see the headliner it's ok and by then the line doesn't take very long. also, you can buy beer from them (and support PS1) BUT they don't check bags too closely...

they spun "rollin' & scratchin'" at tribeca grand! it was upstairs in a nice little space behind the bar. i didn't stay long enough to hear if they also played the tribulations remix. i got unfortunately drunk :(

7 years after posting upthread I actually got to play here a couple of weekends ago. Was a great time. Terrence Parker cuttin' up old house and rave jams was so much fun. And it was cool to play the early set and set a mood - or attempt to.

I'll be at the Floating Points one as well, but more for Hieroglyphic Being.
