anyway your posts inspired me to look up the Terri Nelson Group in the Bubblegum Music Is The Naked Truth book. apparently, they were originally an all-female soul group, but by the time of the K-K recording(s), it was just Terri with male backing band - probably the same bunch of anonymous session players that they always used
Terri Nelson Group, along with Lt. Garcia's Magic Music Box and JCW Rat Finks (both made up groups) were credited as contributors to the first Kasenatz-Katz Singing Orchestral Circus album (the fake live one).
