this is certainly an odd duck, but I don't feel like they're Mario64 outtakes or anything, they're much too weird for that.
essentially this is like the RDJ album but with most of the drilling/jarring noises stripped out and the melodic parts brought to the fore.
I can't imagine what type of video game would use them.

A lot of the songs start out chirpy and blippy but then get more "regular". There's one that starts out w/this mournful 8bit melody and then all these other sounds come in and it basically becomes a nice mellow thing along the lines of AB5 track 1 or "fingerbib".. Then the 8bit organ comes back but does not disrupt the fine mood that has been painted
