yeah actually i was going to make an addendum to that post to note the quality of f-hole teles w/humbuckers. they sound really good and biting. the other guitarist in my band uses one, and it's vunderbar.

Hearty agreement that you grab a Strat when what you want is single-coil tone.

Plus, Strats are already so ubiquitous--requiring people to occasionally pick up a different guitar can only be a Good Thing.
