Not really. Gong is kind of jazzy-quirky, w/prominent saxophone. Can, uh, isn't. I luv 'em both, me.

Since I've never heard the Futureheads, and I automatically dislike anything I haven't heard until I hear it, I guess I do. But maybe my dislike is dishonest.
