merzbow - which ones are the silliest?

i like the silly ones like the split cd w/ ladybird, the "jazz tribute" that is door open at 8 am and so on & so on. however i am ever so picky and not so keen on the ones where you can tell which guitar pedals he's got switched on at any given time cos that just don't sound sourceless & alien like i want it. which ones might i be missing out on????

if i recall correctly, "aqua necromancer" is the same basic concept as "door open at 8am" but using drumbeats from prog rock bands. the collaboration he did with gore beyond necromancy is pretty damn ridiculous - i can't decide whether they just used samples of old grindcore records or GBN actually does anything. for 'silly concept', "hard lovin' man" takes the cake - he basically uses a laptop to destroy a deep purple song into a nasty, accelerating loop of noise.

There's a piece on the Merzbox called "Stacy Q Hi-Fi Sweet Leaf," which is in fact (audibly) a Stacey Q remix. THAT's the silliest.

On my merzbox listening experience I think I just played the one that Douglas mentions. Much agreed, it's absolutely silly and almost shocked me. After about 40 discs of noise before it, though, it comes as a welcome change. :)

I actually saw the Merzbox for the first time when I was at Amoeba yesterday...the price tag was really hefty. Yowch. I'd say that in itself was fairly silly, but obv. there are those of you out there who like it enough to pay the price.
