I realize its not really worth travelling across the country for, but surely there are a few regional fans who'll be attending?

I'll be at Of Montreal at least. Possibly more.

Boyracer cancelled yesterday. Adding to the long list of reasons why its no longer worth travelling for, which also includes no Nikki Sudden and the SURPRISE HEADLINER slot just being another Pylon gig.

I'll probably go for the weekend at least.

There are two surprise headliners. Pylon is only one of them, I believe.

it's pretty sad to me to think people are blase about seeing pylon!

Well, only in Athens and only because they've played kind of a lot lately, including for free not a month ago at Athfest.

The other is The Marbles.

At a glance it strikes me as a decently-rounded list, with a ton of names I've never heard of. They don't have a Tullycraft or Boyracer (I know, they cancelled) to really draw in the long-distance drivers, but maybe the sheer volume will win them over? If I wasn't moving to Ohio at the beginning of the month I'd totally buy a pass in any case - Deerhoof, the Apples, and Bunnygrunt are worth it for sure, and I'd love to see what the deal was with Oh-OK. 8-Track Gorilla would be great to see again too. The real question is: where's Geoff Reacher?

The Gift Machine is amazing and definitely worth seeing.
