It's an average album but that doesn't mean I hate it.

It's OK. I think that's why no one is that Talkitive about it.

The new SFA is pretty steller though.

Hey, Mwng is entirely in Welsh and that's one of the best SFA records!

The lyrics (translated) and the storied behind the songs on Yr Atal Genhedlaeth are all interesting, but the melodies are pretty simplistic. I like that Gruff Rhys purged some of his more half-baked ideas on this record before settiling in to do more SFA recordings...

It’s good but don’t have a big desire to play it. This kind of reminds me of what Sice did when he put out Eggman’s First Fruits while the Boo Radleys were the main band. That being said First Fruits is a very, very good record.
