META: Where to discuss when Greenspun is down?

I do not know about you but I get a little bit annoyed by the fact that Greenspun fails more and more often. I'd say the site is not reachable on average about one day per week. Couldn't we continue our discussions somewhere else in that case? E.g. in the newsgroup alt.music.alternative (not too busy right now 5-10 questions per day of which a lot are not even answered) or in another one? You can post easily via google. When registering you have to provide a valid e-mail (like here).

Have you got any other ideas? Maybe someone could set up a message board similar to the one of People Talk Too Loud.

Or maybe we just have to shut up and listen to music when Greenspun is down. What do you think?

newsgroups leave a bad taste in my mouth ... there's no spam or junk posts here and the community vibe is pretty good. i like greenspun's unique mid-nineties-esque approach to web design too ... it's so hot.

Yeah, I was about to say -- if the boards go down, gives me a chance to take care of other things, and I know it'll be back soon. There have been pauses in activity due to server maintenance since ILM got started.
