Pop Art Used for Album Art

What are some albums that use a pop art "feel" (specifically something in the vein of Roy Lichtenstein) in their artwork?

My band is beginning to think about the artwork for the album we're recording and we kind of think a pop art/Lichtenstein style would fit the record. I dunno how overdone that style is and want to avoid any cliches that have developed over time.

Have a look at the Sympathy For The Record Industry, Estrus and Crypt back catalogues.

MerkinMuffley (MerkinMuffley), Friday, 15 July 2005 07:32 (twenty years ago)

isn't it the very point of popart to look 'too done'?

(Later adopted and adapted by the last band I was in)

How much more "in the vein of Roy Lichtenstein" do you want?

My sister had one by some new wave band whose name totally escapes me. It's bothering me now.

Orange Juice - "You Can't Hide Your Love Forever." I think all the Postcard Records art was Warhol-inspired.

Is it pop art if it's not appropriated and secondary to your underappreciated band?
