I've always read that this was intended to be a double album, but things were so rapidly imploding in the P-Funk camp and they were feuding w/Warners so the album ended up getting chopped in half and released w/the censored cover art, etc. My question is, what were they going to pad out this album with to make it a double album? Did it just end up on other releases...? This isn't the greatest of their records by any stretch, but it is pretty weird and definitely has its high points, I'm curious what else the P-Funk camp has in their vaults from these sessions...

Apparently, a side-long version of "Funk Gets Stronger" — me, I'd like to hear it...

Are you sure they didn't just split that version in half and that's what's on the actual release...?

I've heard that the other half turned into Geo. Clinton's Computer Games.

but that came out like 3 or 4 years later!

no wait, I'm wrong about that, they're only a year or so apart, never mind...

I've heard that the other half turned into Geo. Clinton's Computer Games.

That's, like, 8 tracks. Which ones? "Loopzilla"?

Those, like, 8 tracks are, like, a whole 40-minute album. Plus I think the project changed and mutated just a little; hence, my use of "turned into".
