yes thanks, the cd arrived. not usually that bothered about live bootleg stuff, but this was really good, i have written something about it on 1471, because it made me think some stuff. i also enjoyed the soylent green and colonel abrams/trapped rmx stuff, because i've never heard those before. brilliant stuff. i cannot wait for the new album

Will be there. Mark Bell's sets have been magnificent recently, taking minimal house through subtle shifts and drawing out micro textures. But Fennesz is reason enough to go along. I was worried that everyone I've invited down will have to sit through Venetian Snares' sonic assault, but there's two rooms playing, so we can hide behind Global Goon if it gets too harsh. Also V.S. is playing Publiclife with V/VM and others soon. And I'm one of the fools who'll be there....

six months pass...

global goon was really good. i missed venetian snares, then i was in a bit of a haze for a while. the goon was much better than the last album, which was kind of non-descript
