This is driving me mad. A few weeks ago, I was in Avalanche in Glasgow and they were playing this really good song, it sounded a bit like the Slits. I asked the guy behind the counter what it was and he said it was Canto de Luna, he just had it on his Ipod and had no idea who they were or if you could still get their records, or even if you do spell the name like that. I thought I'd be able to look them up on the Internet, but I've tried all kinds of sites and all kinds of spellings, and nothing comes up except restaurants. A couple of friends have said the name rings a bell, but I think they're bullshitting. The only other thing I've been able to find out is that the guy in Avalanche apparently has a record by them, it's pretty old apparently, but he still claims to know nothing about them.
