I have asked this before, but forgot what the answer/lost it.

Does anyone remember the New Bad Things? Did they ever do an album?

"Ennui Go!" on Darla. Lo-fi guitar indie pop, I think. Not unlike Hefner. Uh, that's all I've got.

There was a previous thread. Some folks had lots of snarky, mean things to say. I only have one official disc by 'em (a "C-sides" compilation available from BBPTC), and I've been known to enjoy it from time to time. They have TWO albums, if I remember correctly - the one mentioned, and something on the Chainsaw (or Candyass) label?

The C Sides is mildly entertaining. I haven't listened to it for quite a while, but if I'm ever in the mood for manic, shambolic indiepop with funny/retarded lyrics it fits the bill. If he still has some left, Mike from BBPTC sells the CD for two or three dollars, which is probably worth it if you're curious. The other album that I'm aware of (Freewheel!) was on Candyass. I never heard it, but I imagine it's more of the same.

hefner's cover of 'goethe's letter to vic chesnutt' is much better than the original.

Saw Japanther do a version of "The Dirge" the other night and very curious to hear the original. Guess we don't do YSI requests here anymore, right?
