your original NOW DANCE (1985)is *unbelievable*. the pre-house dance era in full effect. there's nary a white artist on it, most of the stuff on there only modest hits. NOW DANCE 86 not quite as good but still worth it thru-out the 90's as a party mainstay for among other things the impossible-to-find in the pre-mp3 era 'pull up to the bumper' 12". also for the hillarious shoulder padded/ hairsprayed cartoon that featured all over the artwork.
by 87/88 the world was 'dance' crazy anyway and there wasn't really a need for seperate dance NOWs sadly. then they magically started them up again in 91!
