Wrongly labeled as "New Order - Here To Stay (Demo) [2002]" when I stole it off Soulseek when I nabbed it about a year ago.

It's not New Order; whatever it is, I like it.

Google and all other search engines are no help.

No, that other dude is just asking the New Order fans because one of them might have found out what the track really is, I guess.

The bass sounds very much like it could have been played by Peter Hook, which probably explains why it was mislabeled as New Order, but it could just as easily be someone who just imitates the sound. The voice is certainly not Bernard Sumner. (Don't think it's Monaco or Revenge either - the two main non-New Order Hook projects, so I'm still not much help to you)

i'm just listening to this now. i'm guessing it's some fervent new order fan's little-heard-of band (there used to be a lot of us them on alt.music.new-order) but i'm not sure.

i've certainly never heard it before.
