Suggest some bossa nova albums for someone clueless about bossa nova

I am in one of those phases where I am tired and underwhelmed by music I already know about. Yesterday I bought Antonio Carlos Jobim's "Finest Hour" collection. It's pretty good, but I was hoping for something more guitar-oriented. Any hints?

I'd start with that one. Whoever asks me about Bossa Nova, I always tell them about this one.

Here's some other ones

Gilberto Gil/Jorge Ben: Gil e Jorge.

Getz/Gilberto #2: Recorded Live at Carnegie Hall.

Astrud Gilberto: Look to the Rainbow.

Antonio Carlos Jombim & Elis Regine: Elis & Tom.

But if you want Tropicalia stuff (which is better if you want some weird portuguese music) then try these...

This isn't guitar oriented, but it's free out of print bossa nova for your downloading pleasure: http://sabadabada.com/music.htm
The G/9 album is great poppy fun.

And definitely check out Baden Powell for Brazilian guitar goodness.

If you want "more guitar-oriented" stuff, then defintely get more Joao Gilberto. Try "The Legendary Joao Gilberto" compilation (it's out of print, but slsk-able) or the self-titled album with the white cover and then go from there.

also, check out the Bossa nova: s/d thread: bossa nova: S&D

I love the avant tendencies of Vinicius Cantuaria's 'Tucuma.'

I guess technically that's more Samba, though, right?
