Try it out. It's pretty cool, if only as a different perspective on something really familiar. Revolver for example: Tomorrow Never Knows is pretty wild as an opener, Taxman closes it out pretty well, etc.

I use shuffle on albums all the time. Good stuff.

"Every Little Counts" vs. "Paradise"

Very nice!

Magazine "Secondhand Daylight" - opens with "Permafrost", closes with "Feed The Enemy" - yeah!

Exile on Main Street actually works amazingly... as tracks 5-10 are like the best 6 songs in a row ever, it sorta acts as the movie climax, then a brief winding down, then BAM, rocks off to finish it up!

Yeah, surely mp3 players & shuffle play has killed most of the concept of album sequence. I don't think I could correctly name the full song order for any album I've bought in the last 2 years. I used to just, well, absorb that without paying any particular attention to it. I think I could rattle off the song order for most of the albums I bought in high school (and where the tape turned over for the old ones), but very few after that.

five years pass...

i did this with notorious b.i.g.'s ready to die, so that it beings with him killing himself and ends with him getting out of jail. pretty sure I only want to hear it that way from not on.
