Research help - Dinosaur JR and Posies

I'm doing a story for a small paper on Dinosaur JR and Posies, and other bands who had two strong frontmen - who broke up, and then got back together again.

The only other reunion I can think of from this year which is comparable is Pink Floyd.

Can anybody think of other examples from the last couple of years?

The Posies have worked together since the "breakup" in 1998 on EPs, live albums, box sets, acoustic tours and as part of Big Star whenever they play, so they're not really comparable to Dinosaur Jr, two guys who hated each other by the end of Lou Barlow's tenure in the band.

Top-flight acts overcoming internecine hatred in the name of ca$h in recent years include 80s indie giants The Pixies and The House of Love, and maybe New Order, although that was 2001. Maybe you could count the Go-Betweens too, the recent Husker Du onstage reunion at a charity gig, and the daddies of singing songs and hating one another - Simon and Garfunkel!

sounds like a good article idea, I never thought of that parallel, even though I saw Dinosaur's reunion tour and am reviewing the new Posies album.
