Yet again, corporations are killing our indie music.

Jurgen! I loved you in that thing!

this song was in a beer commercial like 2 years ago

This is appropriate since they are wank.

Anti-Pope Consortium (noodle vague), Thursday, 28 July 2005 14:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh no! I only just realised the song title/Nivea connotations. Are Nivea trying to promote the use of their products as lubricant?

They could've also used Morris Day & The Time if so.

It has been used in I Pod advert, in France at least.

Are they really killing our indie music...?

...Or are they just giving it a forum where it gets heard by a massively wider audience? I bet a significant proportion of the Caesars album sales are a direct result of people hearing it on the i-Pod advert.

Is that a bad thing?

Bobby M (bobbym), Thursday, 28 July 2005 16:42 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh no - Jurgen's in The Celestine Prophecy!

David R. (popshots75`), Thursday, 28 July 2005 16:43 (twenty-one years ago)

My immediate thought was that what the jurgen's people sell was Caesar's jerk, so to speak.

Forksclovetofu (Forksclovetofu), Thursday, 28 July 2005 18:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Great song. I could care less whether it's in a commercial or not.
