it actually pains me every time someone posts non j-pop music in the j-pop thread, but that seems to be where everyone congregates to share/listen to anything japanese related

get the feeling that when i attend something like this in the usa/canada, it's filled with scenesters and people so caught up in anything but the music (or just a place to socialize), whereas this is just people letting the music take them wherever without worrying what others will think of them, which is a pretty strange thing, this being japan
