One of the best records to come out of the 80s -- David Baerwald's voice and lyrics...David Ricketts provides the musical backdrop on bass/guitars/keyboards and programming.

The songs are all about the underbelly of L.A. ala Steely Dan, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Randy Newman, and X.

The pop music sheen makes it all sound so delightful!

One of may favorite records of all time....

PS: If you are a fan of David Ricketts and his music check out "Day of Reckoning" on Robbie Robertson's "Storyville" CD. DR plays almost all the instruments and he co-wrote the song and co-produced it with Robertson.
