Bob Mould & Swervedriver?

"Underneath Days," one of the songs on Bob Mould's new album, sounds a hell of a lot like Swervedriver. Did they ever tour with Sugar? I guess Swervedriver was pretty influenced by Husker Du right?

Swervedriver were THE most overlooked british band back then. They got wrongly lumped in with the whole wellygazing scene.
They were a fking great melodic ,non trend , tune laden masterpiece. The only thing that put me off was their dog on a string image. Veltoria and Herbert from Brighton have been developing that look since 1978 and it should have stayed there.

Not sure about that one but…

Sugar with the Boo Radleys on Nov 13, 1992 at the Hollywood Palladium.

A Giant Steps tour and it was an amazing night.

Sorry, that doesn’t compute. It was the Everything’s Alright Forever tour in 1992.
