Anyone remember this? I've only just seen it after 17 years of being mildly curious.
Features awkward quoting of "It's A Sin" and "Always On My Mind" etc in the dialogue, and anything-but-seamless insertion of the original songs straight into the 'narrative'. A deranged clergyman, scantily-clad nuns, a seaside town they forgot to close down, and an autonomous ventriloquist's dummy also feature prominently. Of course, Chris Lowe is all but mute throughout the 87 minutes - one reviewer put his total wordcount at 28!
