No class system anymore in Blighty? Right?Hhhhmmm.... In the USA?
This band's songs (especially their 'Indifference' release) stand the test of time imho. Especially musically albeit fairly 'basic'. What a fkin great guitar sound.Fantastic guitar sound. And prophetic lyrics. Obvious lyrics maybe .So what? 20 years ago.Things really have not moved on. As if they ever can.

I have some of the Proletariat output on vinyl somewhere and I really would be playing that if i wasn't so lazy and had a decent turntable.I'm sure the second LP was on Homestead but who cares? It's great stuff and I was bowled over by how great it still sounds.

Solid band with some great highlights. I never fell completely for them but enjoy them when they pop up on shuffle.

There's a nice live/radio set from WERS in Boston (the old Emerson College station). September of 1982. 11 Songs, including the classic "Voodoo Economics." Floats around on line. Worth finding.
