We've had this at the college station where I dj for a month or two and folks are in love with it. It is quite bizarre and different and completely enjoyable and unquestionably listenable. More info here:

This album is wonderful. Probably my favorite record of the past year or so. The other finders keepers release, the Jean-Claude Vannier record, is fantastic as well, and the "welsh rare beat" one looks promising too.

it's a good first thing in the morning record to get you going, it really brightens your day. the best track is "yama yama" which i put on my "Back to Mine" mix. The tracks sound like modern attempts at a retro vibe - it's hard to believe thay are as old as they are. i'm not sure whether thats a compliment or not but i mean it as one.
