comprehensively represented on Spotify. messy production on much of it. sounds sorta like demos buried under all the chintz but some good stuff in there.

this is one of the few classic era ZTT albums i have yet to get.
reviews are mixed.

Why Does It Have To Be This Way is truly great, but I don't think the rest of the album really holds up. There are some good things there, but it all sounds too much of what it actually is, which is a mid-80s pastiche of all that 50s/60s chanson/accordion stuff. It was a bit of a micro-trend at the time.
