Would you go back?

Would it have been better to have grown up in another generation... like say, the 1960's? If its possible to weigh the two alternatives up - does the chance to experience that momentous decade (or another momentous time you missed out on) outweigh the chance to live in your own time and listen to the music from the older time without having "experienced the occasion".....

My take on it is that its pretty impossible to guage accurately as you would never know... but that a time like the 1960's or late 1980's seems so magical in comparison to now that you would go back in an instant.

What do you lot reckon?

Also - do you have kids/family who are envious of the time or place you grew up in?

Also - do you think your kids will seeth with envy when the read about or listen to music from this generation? And would you like to swap places with your kids in the future!??!?!

So - new "Run for it Marty!!!" answers pleez !

If anyone says "the 70's" I'm prepared to tell you all about how wrong you are.

I will stand by your side Dave. 99% of the 70s music was rubbish.
