You are crazy people. If you don't like unsigned artists and you are convinced they are inferior in talent and not super talented...then listen to Marisa Monte who doesn't write her own music. I write latin music.
I have some right now that I am going to record when I move into my new house.
but you will not hear it...cause you love signed artists. I love music board is not a place for indie arists.
I know where I am not wanted. all you ever do is insult me and say that I am not that great and how great signed artists are.
So go buy Norah Jones and Marisa Monte. I don't care.
If you think that all signed artists right now are the best..
I am not convince you otherwise. That is why I have taken my site down and started a new stage name.
all you ever do is mock how I am not signed and how I am a rejected demo.
O.k I guess record companies want their products to sell, and they want control of the net, and they don't like the fact that my writing blows these women away.
I write all kinds latin music...
and indian music. You people are NOT cool.

We live in a society where men are insulting women.
In Iran, this brilliant female Lawyer who just won a Nobel Prize last year, relates to Marissa.
Myself.
This country and U.K are constantly insulting women.
The music industry people are quite aware that I blow alot of women away that have been signed on Blue Note and other major labels. but they anti talent, especially when it comes to women.
This country is backward.
they are not promoting the best female talent out there, because they are sexist and bigotted assholes who should move to Iran, and they are very unsophisticated, backward..rednecks of NYC.
and La.
this country is very backward...not progressive...the men are like in the dark ages.

I dismissed this wave of posts as some troll, but this is starting to seem like a lot of effort for someone who isn't actually her. This is weird.

It still makes me do a double take that Blue Note is now considered a "major label," but I guess it's all thanks to Norah.

Is she saying that Iran is good to women?

You could tell that Norah has more talent and way more looks then Marissa, couldn't you. Norah is super great. Super beautiful and that is why she made Blue Note records a big label. Go buy Norah's new record. she make Marissa look like a hack. Marissa can't sing worth a damn. Can you believe the vocal chords of Norah Jones and the amazingly hip songs. Norah is a smash!
Just because someone is eight inches taller then someone doens't make them better looking. Marissa kept mentioning that Norah Jones is eight iches shorter then she is. but look at Norah's beautiful face. Marissa is ordinary looking. Norah jones is superb.

marissa,
yr making me feel like I'm the one who's not real.

when, in fact, it's quite obvious to see, i am.

maybe you could answer this then---
'what exactly is a dream? and what exactly is a joke?'

― eedd, Wednesday, 10 August 2005 14:39 (twenty-one years ago)

Marrissa, when will your next post be?

It can either be a post from you saying 'this is my last post', or it can be from a alias bashing yourself more than anyone else every has.

I like it very much when your aliases contain clues that it's you (e.g. using 'menrule' or something in the email address).

Us fans know it's you just from the rants and writing style.

Anyway, it's very entertaining to this board - we'd just like them compiled into one thread rather than litering the board overall.

Easier to keep up. You've found a lot of success in this venture. Possibly even some dates (performance or romantic or both)

k thanks bye.

dirt, dirt, more dirt, clean it with your spit and skirt
cotton balls, towels on walls... messiness alert
this intermittent slobby side has come to be my battle
when all is scrubbed and sweeky clean, come heards of bull and cattle
I've blamed the bulls, tornado, wolves, some nuclear explosion
but I know best, my inner quest, to conquer this in motion.
