Milli Vanilli don't count in this right?

Ah well. Boney M's "Rasputin" and "Ma Baker" are great, great singles. "I Can't Stand The Rain" by Eruption is thunderous. Downside: I think he gave us The Far Corporation.

What about Silver convention? he admitted recently in an interview that they were merely a practice run before his grand plan was put into operation.
og poster wrong on this, right? what's the connection there, if any? maybe he was conflating behind-the-curtains german producers?

og poster way off on this too! though in 2002 making fun of milli vanilli was probably still en vogue. fab was on a recent episode of the questlove supreme podcast talking about that era, working with frank, etc. interesting times for sure.

Yeah never heard he had any connection to Silver Convention and I really doubt it

TIL the lyric in "Daddy Cool" is
She's crazy like a foolWild about Daddy Cool
...not "What about..."

always thought this dude was a POS, weren't Milli Vanilli basically two very broke kids who had no say in their own career, who actually *wanted* to sing on their albums? didn't he prefer working with undocumented immigrants because it meant he didn't have to pay them fairly? I mean yeah some cool music but nah this guy deserves to rot
