Were they named after a Brick song or not? Brick was from Atlanta, Dazz from Cleveland, I think...

I've read they were named for that tune, but I dunno if it's definitive word.

from what i gather they called themselves "Dazz Band" because they were trying to do some "dance-jazz" type of hybrid, at least at first. hence "dazz"
