This is actually a pretty good Factory Records release. I seen that someone called them the Interpol of their day.

Wally van Middendorp may have been a nifty Ultra artist, but he's one of the least charismatic vocalists of the 1980s. Listening to him is a bit like being stuck in a room with a mumbling gothic Dutch Cookie Monster who's had too many mushrooms. Oh, and a synth player.
