cybele, Saturday, 16 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Hi, Cybele. I'm glad you enjoyed my choices. "My Little Beautiful" is full of tender innocence. I remember reading something that said 'Lunatic Harness' was akin to a soundtrack for heaven. I like that description. I always saw "My Little Beautiful" as a kind of theme song for my cat Rain, who died last month. It still reminds me of her, because it's so optimistic and sweet.

cybele, Sunday, 17 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

"Joe, no! keep it as the Accelera Deck one, thats ace!"

Thanks Gareth! I actually just rapped up a mixed CD with that Accelera Deck track...but "Hell Is For Children" was my response to the person who chose "Spirit In The Sky". Maybe I'll just play both with the cross fader in the center.

BIRTH: I'd go with Styx' "Sing For The Day" - even tho most of the lyrics are totally inappropriate, the kbds & mandolin evoke a mindlessly cheery "Welcome to Earth!"-type mood like nothing else I can think of right now.

DEATH: Coltrane's "A Love Supreme, Part IV: Psalm", however pretentious a choice it may be.
