When I'm driving the van to work I want to listen to a station/show that only plays current chart pop, where the presenter/s aren't repellent. I can't stand c.moyl3s any more:

1/he is repellent
2/he isn't funny ever, and nor are any of his idiot sycophant crew.
3/he plays about 3 records an hour IF I WANTED TO LISTEN TO TALK RADIO I WD HAVE TUNED INTO A TALK RADIO CHANNEL FUCKFACE.
4/he is nauseatingly self-congratulatory.

Any suggestions? National not local, plz.

I miss sara cox.

"Comedy Dave" is the most inaccurate name ever!

His show is just unbelievably shit! the last straw = they recorded a "comedy" vers of "i predict a riot", w/lyrics about eating, NOT FUNNY, and they play it every fucking day!! Off!! Plus, is he on a retainer from news corp or s.th.? The amount of times he mentions sky during his spiel!! Perhaps I'll give Wogan a go, though the music I hear on R2 is a bit heart & hearth for my tastes, tbh. I want pop!!

Definitely give Wogan a chance. I gave up on Radio One when all I could hear was the sound of DJs sucking air through their teeth. Hissing, like snakes, with shit taste in music.
Having said that, with Wogan you have to suffer The Corrs a lot.

Wogan = mostly shit music and although he's not in the same noxious universe as Moyl3s he can be pretty smug. I'd've thought a local station would be your best bet for charty music but then you have to suffer Moyl3s wannabes and adverts. I'd really like to listen to radio in the car but I'm always forced to play tapes because the bullshit to music ratio is way too high.

just give up on the music radio and listen to the Today Programme in instead. You know you want to.

Yesterday one of JK and Joel (does it matter which?) said 'Tony Blair, well, he's a pretty cool guy. Forget about the politics, I don't know much about that. He's torso of the week in Heat!' The day before Tweedledee said to a caller 'How can Jacques Your Body remind you of your schooldays? It hasn't even been released yet!'

At least I don't have to look at their smug tinpot local radio faces all over Manchester buses any more.
