I need someone to listen to this track and tell me it isn't post-punk, because I'll likely ask you to step outside if you don't agree. Ha haha.

Just got Desperate Character (1981), and the styles on this record are so completely against anything I would ever normally be into. Simple 50's pop songs, even some (gasp) country thrown in ("There's a Guy Works Down The Chip Shop Swears He's Elvis", "Teenager In Love") but the weird thing is that ONLY BECAUSE IT'S HER, it works for me. ONLY SHE COULD GET AWAY WITH THIS STUFF.

The gorgeous Byrdsian melodrama of "See That Girl" is especially amazing as well. At least 3/4 of the way to the Beatles, surely.

I tried to listen to this album once years ago just after I'd gotten into Kite and it scared me off. I have changed my mind. And just think: not even any Johnny Marr on this one.

"Look ma! No Johnny Marr!"

WinFixer 2005 provides me with different kinds of scanning modes.
I can now scan my system completely, my system files alone, the drives or the files/folders of my choice.
I can even specify a set of files/folders for executing a scan.
These modes make the scanning task much easier and simpler.
