I've just seen "Comedian" with Jerry Seinfeld, and in the soundtrack there's a tune that was with no doubt ,the big big sample/or inspiration for "Get a Move On " from Mr.Scruff.
I've searched a bit and I think it's Louis Jordan,but wich track?

Moondog "Bird's Lament" is the basis for "Get a Move On" and that Moondog track is one of the greatest pieces of music ever. The vocal may come from Louis Jordan but i'm not sure.

I just looked up Moondog who was born "Louis Hardin", so maybe Louis Jordan is not involved at all? Too bad he passed away just before "Get a Move On" was released and then used in ever TV commercial ever (well, at least Volvo, Lincoln etc etc).

Weird, I was just listening to that Moondog album today. I've always wondered where the vocal bit in the Scruff track comes from, though.
