it's an intruiging trajectory. it's funny how nu-metal the 'fight club' s/t sounds -- wonder if they hooked up with linkin park before or after doing it. did they do 'feint'?

Have thee some angel dust.

I suspect a lot of people now think 'Mmmbop' is the best thing they ever did.

"I give not a crap for thee."

My fave local bar regularly shows Fight Club on their screen. They do so with the volume cranked down to nothing, so that the DJs there can play stuff instead. The resultant alternate soundtracks amuse me.

'know how' is their best song. i like 'em.

N_RQ, Monday, 12 September 2005 14:29 (twenty years ago)

'faint' is incredible, whoever did it.

N_RQ, Monday, 12 September 2005 14:29 (twenty years ago)

is there an instrumental version?

Sociah T Azzahole (blueski), Monday, 12 September 2005 14:30 (twenty years ago)

in fact an entirely instrumental 'Meteora' would definitely get more play at Castle Stevem.

Sociah T Azzahole (blueski), Monday, 12 September 2005 14:31 (twenty years ago)

hmm, i used to not like the vocals, but now i do.

I suspect a lot of people now think 'Mmmbop' is the best thing they ever did.

'Thinking Of You', the other track they produced for Middle Of Nowhere, is at least as good.

The general dearth of rarer DB stuff on P2P is a major disgrace. How many other people here have heard that bugged out remix of Len? The minor tweak on No Doubt's 'Simple Kind of Life' that results in a major improvement? The mythical 'Save Me' from the Psychonauts' 1996 Essential Mix?

all these moments will be lost, like tears in the rain.

The Dust Brothers' label's site, many years ago, advertised a forthcoming Can tribute album they'd put together; there was a bit of Flash that was a verse/chorus loop from Beck's cover of "Vitamin C." Does ANYBODY know what happened to this?

Douglas (Douglas), Monday, 12 September 2005 14:55 (twenty years ago)

'paul's boutique' seems to be an album ilx loves to hate.

N_RQ, Monday, 12 September 2005 14:58 (twenty years ago)

Their remix for They Might Be Giants = highly slept on awesomeness,
