what does "fremme neppa venette" mean?

Curt1s is coming to Zwinktopia !, Monday, 10 September 2007 05:48 (eighteen years ago)

This might be in either Farøyar or Swedish.

Help?

"Hei, vil du knulle med meg?
Jeg elsker deg.
Ha det bra, jeg gå til Natasha boren."

roxymuzak, Friday, 21 September 2007 03:33 (eighteen years ago)

Can't find what the final word means, but the rest is Norwegian.

Hey, do you want to f*ck with me?
I adore you.
Good luck, I'm going to Natasha (boren?)"

StanM, Friday, 21 September 2007 06:11 (eighteen years ago)

Based on what it means in dutch, it could be "I'm going to drill natasha" - but based on "bored" in English, it could be "I'm going to see boring natasha"

StanM, Friday, 21 September 2007 06:12 (eighteen years ago)

ro-xy has a grou-pie! :-)

StanM, Friday, 21 September 2007 06:17 (eighteen years ago)

It's not Swediah, I think it might be Danish (or Farøyish, like you say). But it's close enough to Swedish so I can translate:

"Hey, will you fuck me?
I love you.
Bye bye, I will go to Natasha ???"

I don't know what "boren" means.

Tuomas, Friday, 21 September 2007 06:33 (eighteen years ago)

(xx-post)

Tuomas, Friday, 21 September 2007 06:33 (eighteen years ago)

Hmm, I think Stan is right, it could be Norwegian. Online dictionaries suggest that "boren" might mean "the bore" or "the drill" ("boren" is a noun in definite form), but neither of those sound right. It's probably some Norwegian phrase that doesn't translate literally.

Tuomas, Friday, 21 September 2007 06:38 (eighteen years ago)

Or maybe the last sentence means, "Bye bye, I'll go to Natasha, you bore!".

Tuomas, Friday, 21 September 2007 06:39 (eighteen years ago)

it's in norwegian, but the last sentence is pretty much nonsensical. 'boren' could be natasha's last name. or it could be a typo for 'broren' ('the brother') or 'broen' ('the bridge'). neither of which make much sense either.

Nil Carborundum

Don't be ground down?

President Evil, Friday, 21 September 2007 09:58 (eighteen years ago)

or maybe it was supposed to say sasha boren, and not natasha boren?

"Bye bye, I'll go to Natasha, you bore!">>This seems most correct.

Wow! This translation was most unexpected. Thanx Tuomas&StanM.

Snåle mi jente, vil du deg gifte,
Så ska no eg vera guten din,
Det kan du helse heimat til pappa din

Hikta, fikta,
Fer ikkje gale,
Kasta du bort en skarvuttu vane,
Nei så men om eg vil ha deg,
For i fjor ville du bedra meg
Men no har eg funne meg ein som stannar meg bi, så no kan du reise heimat med råva di

roxymuzak, Sunday, 23 September 2007 02:25 (eighteen years ago)

Okay, that's too much and too Norwegian for my translation skills. Where are this and the previous one from, some song lyrics?

Tuomas, Sunday, 23 September 2007 13:38 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, lyrics, traditional folk song I believe. I think it's about marriage and going home to or leaving your father/roots or something, but there are too many words I don't recognise.

This online translation thingy doesn't help much either:
http://www.translation-guide.com/free_online_translators.php?from=Norwegian&to=English

Here's a band that has the song on one of their records:
