I use iTunes but I can't find a (legit preferably) MP3 of O Superman on my usual sources. Anyone know/got one? It's no good telling me about mymusic or napster - i use a Mac.

Thanks

I guess I haven't heard the vinyl version--is it radically different from the version on 'Big Science'?

Still need it? I can YSI as well...

I don't think it's any different, but my record player is broken, and thus I just stare at my records with a deep and profound sadness.

And yes, js, I still need it...if you could be so kind.

Here you go.

Ahhhhhhh. Thank you so much. Js, if you need anything off of the mister heartbreak album, or anything else, let me know.

John Justen (johnjusten), Friday, 16 September 2005 01:53 (twenty years ago)

Heh. Big Science and Mister Heartbreak are the two albums I have loaded on my computer from her. (They're actually my father's discs... I need to give them back sometime...)
But thanks. At some point in the future, you may be called upon to provide a YSI of a track. Hey, you don't have any Was (Not Was) do you?

js (honestengine), Friday, 16 September 2005 06:44 (twenty years ago)

I have "What Up, Dog?" (the one w/walk the dinosaur) on CD, outside of that, all my Was (Not Was) is on temporarily useless vinyl. Anything you want from that album, however, is fair game.

Can I get "Hi Dad, I'm in Jail"?
(What I really want is Man vs. the Empire Brain Building...)

js (honestengine), Friday, 16 September 2005 08:22 (twenty years ago)

Man vs Empire Brain Building ! what a great track. to think that its the same band that hit it with that overplayed pop song re dinos always baffles me.

then again .. seeing as the album has that mad 'hi da i'm in jail' i guess balances things out ..

I'll YSI "Hi dad, I'm in jail" when I get home from work tonight.

John Justen (johnjusten), Friday, 16 September 2005 14:20 (twenty years ago)

Mark- Yeah, Was (Not Was) had a bunch of really great funk and werido music before they got their one hit, then they kinda degraded into MOR eighties radio-funk.
They've got a great one about Christmas in the Motor City on a Ze Christmas comp that I've got around her somewhere.
That was back when Material was awesome too...
