t/s: muse, "time is running out" VS annie, "heartbeat"

The basic structures of these 2 have just struck me as very similar.

Song kicks off quickly with a reasonably quiet, intriguing, unassuming verse
First chorus builds to a heavy 2nd verse intro
2nd verse and chorus release standard intensity
After the 2nd verse, there's some differences. I'm sure I'll think of something eventually.
Finally, song concludes as quickly as it began

Nice, I think I broke the Da Vinci code.

Heartbeat, obviously, but I like "Time Is Running Out" well enough. It works better when sung by a hot goth girl at karaoke, or did the one time I witnessed this.
