whoops!

I never listen to it as I've made my own comps of all their B-Sides. I didn't buy the Singles Collection either, the packaging looks nice but I wasn't too impressed to shell out 12 odd quid!

Calimero! What a great song. One of their best I think! They seem to squirrel away a lot of good tracks on B-Sides.

What are the Lazerbeam B-Sides like? I was on holiday when it came out and since I've got back I can't find it anywhere in Bristol!

glee, Thursday, 15 September 2005 14:50 (twenty years ago)

i reckon fuzzy logic is a classic,

but a classi for my teens. i was 15 when it cam out n i love it, now it kinda sounds a bit puerile.

hub, Thursday, 15 September 2005 14:56 (twenty years ago)

It's interesting that almost everybody has ranked "Guerilla" as either worst or best.

(This is the shop they names the last album after BTW, it's on Cowbridge Road East in Cardiff, 10 minutes walk from where I work. They have different wallpaper now

mei (mei), Thursday, 15 September 2005 16:17 (twenty years ago)

My rating are harsh, but fair.

mei (mei), Thursday, 15 September 2005 16:18 (twenty years ago)

And my comment above still holds!

MindInRewind (Barry Bruner), Thursday, 15 September 2005 16:20 (twenty years ago)

It does indeed!

mei (mei), Thursday, 15 September 2005 16:23 (twenty years ago)

They didn't say they named their album after that shop. That's something people assumed.

enjoy bell woods, Thursday, 15 September 2005 17:03 (twenty years ago)

And please, for the sake of those of us who actually LIKE SFA, stop spamming this board with SFA threads. It's getting annoying, and you're making fans of the band look like morons.

I think I may need a bathroom break? (wetmink2), Thursday, 15 September 2005 23:56 (twenty years ago)

No, it's not just an assumption. A friend of mine interviewed them for the magazine the company we both work at produces, and Gruff told him.

mei (mei), Friday, 16 September 2005 06:32 (twenty years ago)

Actually, scratch that, I was mistaken.
Don;t know if it really is named after the shop after all.

mei (mei), Friday, 16 September 2005 07:53 (twenty years ago)

reckon this is not a bad thread and SFA fans don't lok like morons. they're just rating their albums.
And I guess it's quite OK with a band solid as them, which never failed to deliver. that's it

hub, Friday, 16 September 2005 09:01 (twenty years ago)

>...by the wai I reckon Hub and louie are mates n they're both from >Bristol

I didn't know that Hub was from Bristol, is that right Hub?

As much as I love the Furries I still think Fuzzy Logic was a great album but they've since bettered it a thousand times over. I don't really ever pull it out that much and some of the songs sound a bit rushed.

Radiator was the one where they really pulled the listener into their Furryworld.

Louie_Strychnine, Friday, 16 September 2005 09:15 (twenty years ago)

watched them last night in manchester, very good.

not-goodwin (not-goodwin), Friday, 16 September 2005 11:03 (twenty years ago)

Louie_Strychnine, Friday, 16 September 2005 11:46 (twenty years ago)

support for brixton will be GOLDIE LOOKING CHAIN.

ehehehehe

gabriella, Friday, 16 September 2005 14:23 (twenty years ago)

Mei, it's just some pun, like the rest of their stuff. It's a name that has a few meanings, one of which is probably a reference to that local sex shop. I heard it's across the street from their offices or something.
