Post your random MusicMagic Mix connections

So Winamp incorporated this Predixis MusicMagic Mix playlist generating plugin into 5.1. There's a button for it in the Media Library. It indexes your mp3 collection so when you give it a seed song, it generates a 20 track playlist. I just discovered this yesterday. It's reawakened most of my mp3 collection, like hiring a full time schizophrenic DJ.

K*nye's "Gold Digger" returns Johnny Cash "Sunday Morning Coming Down" NIN "Starfuckers, Inc" and Undisputed Truth "Big John Is My Name"

Share your connections plz k thx.

I don't get it. Is it just a random playlist?

Supposedly it indexes "acoustical attributes." I ran one yesterday that returned a seemingly random list, except all the guitars sounded exactly the same. Some of it's just similar rhythm and volume patterns, I think. The rest is Magic! or Marketingspeak! I dunno. Yeah, those Gold Digger connections don't make any sense, but it also returned Nelly - "Nobody Knows" f. Anthony Hamilton, which kinda does.

Paul McCartney & Wings' "Jet" returns

KISS's "Great Expectations"
The Strokes "Hard to Explain"
The Zombies' "Friends of Mine"

ok... makes sense...

and the Top Gun Theme?!

These playlists tend to fit on a cd, too, which holds all kinds of possibilities.

This thing just put "Ed-Ucation," the Eddie Griffin "the biggest pimp on planet motherfuckin earth is her momma" skit from The Chronic 2001, between Big Dumb Face's "Kali is the Sweethog" and Ben Fold's "Rockin' the Suburbs."

The freestanding version is better than the winamp plugin because it has sliders for "artist style" and "variety"
