Old Paint is still one of my favorite albums. And the two solo albums irwin and bean put out during the 6-year hiatus between End Time and the new one are both quite good.

I just obtained Paula Frazer's demo album recorded before Tarnation's Gentle Creatures (I can rarely think of Freakwater and not Tarnation, and vice versa.) It's a horrific two or four track that gets super muddy and bass-y toward the end. Bummer.
Too bad Louisville sound will forever be Rodan/Slint/June of 44 rather than Freakwater/Rachel's in the minds of thousands of young men out there...
