M@tt - they make a "Bullet Special" that's a single humbucker, although this is cooler, because it appears to be string-through.

gygax! - If it's an Affinity (which they say it is, odds are it's full scale. I'll find out by hassling our Fender guy on Wednesday.

I should probably make it clear right now that I will be ordering one of those Badtz Maru basses for myself right fucking quick. Who loves buying dumb geetar stuff at cost? This guy.

Thank goodness they're both "easy" lessons. God knows a note-for-note transcription would melt the children's feeble brains.

I doubt that bass has active pickups/electronics (you know, with the battery) which is really what makes a bass sound awesome.
