how about an MP3 archive guide - wasn't there from the beginning or anything but its hardly just a sound poetry source.
so from my hazy memory and going through the list
*the 'dada for now' LP is of interest even if the music ain't all that *the cornelius cardew is a gd guide to the man and his many sides *henri chopin has to be pretty good - love anythign of his that was bunged onto LP *bob cobbing too. think there's some new *morton feldman stuff, only remember picking 'the king of denmark' as perf by max neuhaus, whose own folder has an amazing versh of 'fonatana mix'*fluxus anthology YES! *david grubbs has some lovely things on there *some explosive stuff from now deceased argentinians reynols, which leads onto the *mauricia kagel folder 'der schall' and 'acustica' are urgent and key.
bet there's a ton more...

A year ago, we decided to shutter UbuWeb. Not really shutter it, per se, but instead to consider it complete. After nearly 30 years, it felt right. But now, with the political changes in America and elsewhere around the world, we have decided to restart our archiving and regrow Ubu. In a moment when our collective memory is being systematically eradicated, archiving reemerges as a strong form of resistance, a way of preserving crucial, subversive, and marginalized forms of expression. We encourage you to do the same. All rivers lead to the same ocean: find your form of resistance, no matter how small, and go hard. It's now or never. Together we can prevent the annihilation of the memory of the world.

"Heart of Darkness" and "30 Seconds Over Tokyo" recorded in September of 1975 and already sound like No New York.
